Getting to where we are today took many years of effort and a lot of sweat equity. Follow our story to see for yourself:

2007-2010:

Establishing our company presence

Franklin Equipment was started in 2007 to fill a void in the NYC area’s fuel supply equipment distributor network. Soon Franklin Equipment was representing some of the industry’s major manufacturers. This not only gained us a reputation for nurturing deep and long-standing relationships in the industry, but as a women-owned business, Franklin Equipment was in a unique position to help NYC contractors and agencies to meet their supplier diversity goals.

2010-2015:

Distinguishing ourselves from the competition

In 2010, Franklin Equipment achieved certification as a Women-Owned Business in NYC and continued to pursue further certifications: WBENC certified, New York State WBE Certified, Port Authority of New York and New Jersey WBE certified.

In 2015, the Environmental Division of the company was born, starting with a vacuum truck and a permit to transport non-hazardous petroleum contaminated water, used oil, and petroleum contaminated soil.

2017-2022:

Facilitating bigger projects

In 2017, Franklin Equipment assisted a client with a million-dollar EMV upgrade for retail stations in four different states over four years.

In 2022, we were selected as one of only 50 companies to attend the Women in Energy conference in Texas—hosted by WBENC and sponsored by ExxonMobil, BP, Chevron, and Shell.

2023 and beyond:

Expanding to new energy solutions

With the world changing rapidly, most recently Franklin Equipment has been exploring ways to support the emergence of clean fuel technologies.

Beyond that, what’s next? We’re working on more ways to deliver value to clients through education and support. We’re excited for what the future brings, and are looking forward to lifting up long-term clients in the years to come.
